1. Application Process and Obtaining a Thailand Elite Visa
1.1. Submission of Required Documents
To apply for a Thailand Elite visa, you need to provide:
- A color copy of the passport’s main page (passport must have at least 3 blank pages and be valid for more than 12 months)
- A high-quality photo for the membership card (3.5 x 4.5 cm, JPG format)
- A properly completed and signed application form
- For additional family members — documents confirming relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate)
If documents are not in English, they must be notarized and officially translated into English.

Initially, the application form can be submitted electronically for pre-registration. Then, a hard copy with the original signature must be sent by post.
After submission of the full document package, the background check begins and takes 1 to 3 months.
1.2. Approval and Payment
After approval, you will receive an Approval Letter with payment details. Payment can be made from within Thailand (in Baht) or from abroad (in USD).
To confirm payment, a copy of the payment receipt must be provided.
1.3. Registration and Welcome Letter
Once the payment is received by Thailand Elite, visa holders are registered in the system within 5–7 working days.
You will then receive a Welcome Letter via email confirming your membership.
1.4. Visa Placement
You can then book the date and method for placing the Thailand Elite visa sticker in your passport. This must be done at least 5 working days in advance.
2. Processing Time
The entire process takes approximately 1 to 3 months.
3. Applicant Screening
Basic screening includes checks by Thai police and immigration authorities.
Requirements for approval:
- Must hold a foreign passport
- Must be legally staying in Thailand
- No criminal record (minor offenses may be acceptable)
- Not declared bankrupt
- No mental health disorders
- Must be at least 20 years old
4. Methods of Receiving the Visa
The visa sticker can be obtained:
- At any Thai consulate (preferably in your home country)
- Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport
- At the Immigration Office in Chaengwattana, Bangkok
5. What Does the Thailand Elite Visa Look Like?
The Thailand Elite visa is a sticker placed in your passport, similar to other types of visas.
6. 90-Day Reporting
90-day reporting can be completed:
- Online via the Immigration Bureau website: www.immigration.go.th
- In Bangkok:
Cardholders must submit their passports to the office on Tuesday. Thailand Elite staff complete the reporting every Wednesday. Passports can be collected on Thursday. This service is free. - In other locations (Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya):
