On 22 May 2018, our first seminar in Bangkok took place on the topic “Organizing and Running a Business in Thailand.” The seminar was held in the conference hall of the Russian Educational Center “Matryoshka.”
We had conducted a seminar on the same topic one week earlier in Pattaya. However, the participants in Bangkok were interested in entirely different issues, and the discussions moved in another direction: protection of the corporate rights of foreign shareholders, labor relations, liability of directors and auditors, and the nuances of interaction with government authorities. Of course, there were also comparisons of how certain processes are handled in Bangkok and Pattaya. The seminar guests, many of whom had lived in Thailand for a long time (Natalia has already spent 24 years in Thailand.), gladly shared their business and employment experience in Thai companies.
Speaker: Alexandra Agapitova, qualified commercial lawyer, business consultant with 15 years of legal experience in total, including 8 years in Thailand, and Director of Development at Consulting Agency InvestEast.
