Organizing and Running a Business in Thailand. Seminar in Pattaya on 17 May 2018.

On 17 May, consulting agency InvestEast held a seminar in Pattaya, Thailand, on the topic “Organizing and Running a Business in Thailand.”

The seminar in Pattaya was broadcast online, allowing participants from different cities and countries to take part in the event.

This time, we provided a detailed overview of preparing to start a business, the company registration process, the further challenges entrepreneurs may face in Thailand, and practical ways to resolve them. As usual, we dedicated time to theory and supported (or disproved) it with real-life examples from practice. The question-and-answer session was lively and engaging, with seminar participants actively joining the discussion, after which the event smoothly transitioned into networking with refreshments, wine, and snacks.

During the seminar, we discussed the following topics.

  • Forms of legal business structures.
  • Specific features of establishing a Thai company with foreign participation.
  • Preparation for company registration: organizational matters, tax and business planning, agreements between shareholders.
  • Company registration process.
  • Constitutional documents: minimum required package.
  • Tax authorities, social security, permits, and licenses.
  • Payment of registered share capital.
