On May 15, 2014, a seminar titled “Taxes and Accounting at an Enterprise, Primary Documentation Management” was held at the office of the consulting agency InvestEast. This event was the first in a planned series of legal-focused seminars.
The seminar was led by Alexandra Agapitova, Development Director of InvestEast and a business consultant with many years of experience working in Thailand.
Seminar program included:
- Corporate income tax and withholding tax
- Value Added Tax (VAT), specifics of certain transactions, and business tax
- Personal income tax and contributions to the Social Security Fund
- Primary company documentation: preparation rules
Participants received specially prepared materials for the seminar, as well as certificates of participation and discount coupons for the agency’s services.
Questions raised by participants that went beyond the scope of the seminar will be addressed in future events.
